SPITZER - Space Infrared Telescope Facility (Caltech)-is an infrared space observatory, the fourth and final of NASA's Great Observatories. .The $800 million Spitzer was launched on Monday 25 August 2003 at 1:35:39 (EDT) from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station on a Delta II 7920H ELV rocket. It follows a rather unusual orbit, heliocentric instead of geocentric, following earth in its orbit. The mission is operated and managed by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and the Spitzer Science Center, located on the Caltech campus in Pasadena, CA.

SRTM -  an international research effort that obtained digital elevation models on a near-global scale from 56 °S to 60 °N, to generate the most complete high-resolution digital topographic database of Earth to date. SRTM consisted of a specially modified radar system that flew onboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour during the 11-day STS-99 mission in February of 2000.

TES - Tropospheric Emission Spectrometer - is a satellite instrument designed to measure the state of the earth's troposphere. It is an infrared Fourier Transform spectrometer and provides key data for studying tropospheric chemistry, troposphere-biosphere interaction, and troposphere-stratosphere exchanges. TES is built for NASA by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California. It was successfully launched into polar orbit aboard NASA's third earth Observing Systems spacecraft (EOS-Aura) at 10:02 UTC on July 15, 2004

SBIRS Low - is planned as a constellation of satellites capable of performing missile defense, missile tracking, technical intelligence and battlespace characterization in low Earth orbit. SBIRS Low will be an integral part of the future national missile defense system, which will track missiles and relay data to destroy them before impact.  SBIRS is an integrated "system of systems" that will include satellites in geosynchronous orbit (GEO) and low Earth orbit (LEO), sensors hosted on satellites in highly elliptical orbit (HEO) and ground data processing and control. SBIRS ground software integrates infrared sensor programs of the U.S. Air Force (DSP) with new IR sensors

ESAT -  Designs and analyzes the performance of various aspects of radar, electro-optical, communications or biological detection systems. Developed and implemented computer simulations for predicting the performance of such systems and of advanced signal processing algorithms. Analyzed results from simulated and real systems. Preparing and presenting technical briefings and reports.
